To describe The Push is to describe their music: straight-forward, homegrown, and of the people. "We realized we had the talent. Why should we be selfish?" says founding member Jim Reynolds. Co-founding member Tim McDermott adds, "We didn't want to make music that was so technically advanced - although we easily could have - that the common, salt-of-the-earth people couldn't relate to."
